Time to Rap

Holidays, raining. Duh. X Box not a choice as only allowed it an hour a day and anyway it's boring. Superheroes need more than that. Groove and Wheels came over and we decided that our Superhero Club needed a rap.
Since we are so talented we gave it a go.
This is it!!!!

Did you know we are really cool.
Strutting down the road, heading to the mall.
People looking at us, what a sight to see,
Amazing Superheroes, one, two, three.

Need to help some people,  want to do some good,
Truckin' around the town, like Superheroes should.
Where are the problems, just wait and see,
The Superheroes will be there, one , two, three.

We are just soooo talented. No one could be better than us.
Rains stopped, me and the boys are off to the mall.

Hey dudes, it's been a while but I've been practising my moves. I watched a movie the other day and watched this kid learn skills from an old master. I laughed and laughed as the old dude kept making him take his jacket off and put it on again. The kid got cranky but I worked out that he was being taught discipline. How to focus on what's important.  It wasn't the jacket but concentration and that you need to do things over and over without losing the focus, even when it gets boring. I'm off now to put up a peg so I can practise my jacket skills. It would be helpful if I had an old guy to teach me like the kid had. Karate Kid, can't have that name it's already taken.

Where do I start

Since I last signed in I've done three rescues. It really has been frantic, what with the fire brigade coming to one rescue and being a star in the news. I just haven't been able to put anything new on the blog.
I have time to tell you about one of the rescues. Actually it's the most embarrassing. I was walking past this guy who was locking his car. I don't know where he was off to but he'd parked his car and was ready to do what he was going to do when, you guessed it, he dropped his keys and of course they didn't just land in the gutter, they went through that metal thingy and down the drain hole. Well his hand was to big to fit so guess who came to the rescue, the true hero. Me of course. I slid my fingers through the bars, it was a bit of a squash, and fished around for the keys. Luck would have it, they were just out of my reach. I pulled my arm back thinking we'd have to try and lift the grate when my hand came to a stop. It wouldn't come back through the bars. I got my photo in the paper as the fireman loaded me into the fire engine with the grate still attached. Well they got it off at the hospital and said I was a real hero. By the way, the man got his keys. Another satisfied customer.

Rocket Power

This is so much fun. I raided the garage after finding a clip on youtube about rocket power. Took a while to find the bike pump but the other stuff Wheels and Groove came up with. It took a  while to build the rocket and a few false starts but in the end we had the whole neighbourhood watching to see if we could break our own records of distance. Then we threw out a challenge and now we are having a rocket off real soon so now we are making plans and experimenting. Haven't been to the skatepark lately but we're far too busy.

Superhero work is so important

Well Dudes my surveillance paid off. I watched a suspicious dude outside the video parlour. He kept walking up and down, up and down. My mind whizzed thinking that he was going to rob the place. So I was ready, I took some pics on my trusty phone and sent them off to the lawmen. I needed back up, I knew that it might get  tricky and my jujitsu needed some practice. Okay I was watching this dude, I had wheels sitting down at the corner so he could let me know which direction the perp might go if he escaped.  Then suddenly the perp made a move, he went towards the door, he hand inside his jacket. He opened the door, stood back and this old lady with a walking stick came out. "Oh no," I thought he's going to attack an old lady, that really is not on. I moved towards him, flexing my muscles to ready them. He moved towards the old lady and grabbed the bag she was carrying. "Hey Gran look I've got coupons for free coffee, you want to come with me." "That would be nice Jeremy," I heard her say.
My heartbeat started to settle and I wiped the sweat out of my eyes.
I texted the lawmen and let them know I had the situation under control.
Gave the thumbs up to Wheels, pulled down my hat and trucked on down the road.

Truckin'  down the road
chewing on the fat,

Funky Duck just loves to cruise.

This needs to be quick as I'm on surveillance, that means I'm keeping watch on someone. 
I saw something the other day that I thought was a bit sus so I decided to keep a look out on it, you know, make sure it wasn't anything going down. Need to be sure that things are cool. Man, being a super hero is so out there. 
Ssh, someone's coming, look over there, quick they're coming this way, oh no they might see me, Gulp I'm out of here.

I've got it, I've got it. Took a while but here's my thoughts. Of course I can have birthdays. Superman was young, remember, he was adopted on earth as a baby and showed his superpowers as he grew up, just like me. Alright maybe he had a few more powers than I've got but I'm still working on mine. 


Hey where's that Groove, now I can plan my party, "hey Groove, where are you dude, I've decided that I want to go to Splatzone." 


Life is full of important things - like birthday parties. Being a superhero cadet takes a bit of time too. It's really strenuous working out and practicing cool superhero moves. But remember one day I'll have to use my special powers to help people so I have to have the moves perfect. Ah practice, practice, practice.

Superhero birthdays

Funky Duck Posting 2 .1. 12

Crazy Geronimos, did you know that Superheroes don’t have birthdays. Well how suck is that? Me and Wheels were talking about the best way to fizz out our birthdays this year, you know what to do that would be the ultimate. Groove skids his board up and then you know, he pipes up and drops the bombshell. Well, duh, that just does not fit. Come on, think about it, how am I going to be a superhero if I can’t have birthdays and get to the right age? Another question, what is the right age to be a superhero. I have some serious thinking to do here and it’s not even school time. Come on, who thinks in the holidays. It just sucks. Total suck. I need some help here, I needs some ideas – what does a superhero need to know, how old is a superhero?
