It's been a rockin' and a rollin' round here. My mates and me were skating down the park on Friday and the park started moving and grooving all by itself. Poor old Wheels had just got ready to kabooma down the shute when 'Bam!' he was sideways and doing this weird looking wobble. I tell ya my heart was trying to jump out and run.
I wrote this when I got home, it helped me to get it all together again.
What on earth! Just settle down,
We're really back in shaky town,
the ground, it rumbles,
then everything tumbles,
Don't like it one bit
It's enough to make you sick.
Rumble, tumble, enough to make you stumble.
Can't sleep at night
Don't turn out the light.
Give us a break,
it's more than we can take.
Don't like it one bit
It's enough to make you sick.
Rumble, tumble, enough to make you stumble.
I want some peace,
Stop chattering the teeth,
Give me some calm,
I will have to use my charm.
Old Ma Nature,
stop being an old cow,
We're really not that bad you know
give us back the power.
We can rumble and tumble to a groovy beat,
without your help stirring up the streets.
We'll clap a five , stamp a jive,
show you how to be alive.
So you see old Mother Nature,
The kids don't want your beat,
It's time you left us to it
and took an audience seat.
Let us dance, let us jive,
Show you how to be alive,
make it fun everyone
Shake it down, shakeytown.
Keep it together, Funky brothers and sisters. It's gonna be the year of the duck, the cool and funky, Funky Duck.
Signing it off
FD
